As the Director for Student Engagement, Teresa supported district departments, schools, administrators, and teacher teams to evaluate and implement policies and practices through an equity lens to ensure equitable student access and outcomes. Recently, Teresa’s work once again has found her focusing on K-12 literacy. She has supported statewide K-12 literacy initiatives in Indiana, Tennessee and Arkansas, coaching teachers to deeply implement literacy practices to increase student achievement.
