Lori Kirksted is the Director of Marketing at CORE Learning, where she shapes the strategic vision for promoting CORE’s culturally responsive, evidence-based literacy and math solutions. With over 17 years of marketing experience, Lori is committed to making CORE the go-to source for educational solutions that empower teachers and improve learning outcomes.
Throughout her career, Lori has been driven by a love of storytelling and a deep commitment to educational equity. Before joining CORE, she was recruited to build the content marketing function at Lexia Learning, where she launched the “All For Literacy” podcast—ranking in the top 5% of B2B podcasts with over 5,000 downloads in its first week. She also chaired Lexia’s first Cross-Functional Content Board, uniting key teams to shape thought leadership, align brand identity, and unify the company’s voice.
In addition to her role at CORE, Lori runs Content Uncomplicated, where she helps organizations replace random acts of content with purposeful strategies that turn brand awareness into brand devotion, magnetize lead generation, and help close more deals.
Lori holds a Master’s in Integrated Marketing Communications from Emerson College and a Bachelor’s in Communications from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. A lifelong learner, she is passionate about mentoring young marketing professionals and contributing to advancing educational technology and equity.
