Cherry Eckland is an Educational Services Consultant with CORE. Cherry is a veteran educator with over thirty years of experience as an instructional coach and classroom teacher. She is certified in K-8 education and early childhood, and has taught in Title I schools in both rural and urban settings. Cherry is passionate about meeting the needs of all students through the alignment of curriculum, intentional instruction and targeted assessment. She is experienced in supporting the implementation of research-based programs, MTSS and Common Core State Standards.

Cherry received a Bachelor of Science degree from New Mexico State University with a major in education and language arts and a minor in early childhood education. She earned a Masters of Education from Eastern New Mexico State University and became a National Board-Certified Teacher in Early Childhood Education in 2018.
