Gigi Zarzuela is an Educational Services Consultant with CORE. She is a bilingual, Spanish-speaking educator with over ten years of leadership in public schools and expertise in instructional coaching, data-driven practices, and systems development and implementation. She is passionate about building teacher and leader capacity in driving student outcomes through deep understanding of the Common Core State Standards and a student-centered approach.

Currently serving as the Manager of Intensive School Support at Denver Public Schools, Gigi plays a vital role in supporting the improvement efforts of Denver’s highest-need schools. Additionally, she serves as a Facilitator of Math at UnboundEd, leading sessions that enhance participants’ understanding of standards, promote equitable instructional practices, and foster dialogue on addressing systemic racism and bias in education.
