Lieba Schneiderman

Lieba Schneiderman is an Educational Services Specialist with CORE Learning. Lieba is an experienced educator, coach, and leader with a passion for foundational literacy. She believes that access to early reading instruction grounded in research and the science of reading is an equity issue. Lieba is committed to ensuring that ALL of our youngest learners receive the instruction that they deserve in order to become literate and thriving members of our society.
With over a decade of teaching experience in public schools in St. Louis, MO and Oakland, CA, Lieba has experience with implementing and adapting research-based curricula to lead her students to achieve at high levels. She has taken her expertise beyond the classroom to coach, mentor, and train fellow educators on best practices for supporting students’ academic growth and developing positive classroom communities. As a district leader in Oakland, Lieba has supported school leaders across the city in training teachers and setting up systems to improve the implementation of research-based foundational skills curricula, including SIPPS.
Lieba studied Child Development at Tufts University and has a Master’s Degree in Education. She is a learner at heart and stays up to date on the latest educational research and best practices.
