Dr. Olivia Broxey-Jones is an Educational Services Consultant with CORE. With over 22 years of experience in education, Dr. Broxey-Jones has served as an elementary teacher, instructional coach, district literacy specialist, and educational consultant. For the last seven years, she has had the opportunity to work as a professional development facilitator for educational companies delivering training aligned with the Science of Reading. Additionally, Olivia is an adjunct professor at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, teaching graduate courses for initial licensure and certification in education. As a professor, she enjoys working with adult learners helping them to understand and apply theoretical concepts related to teaching learners in grades Pre-K through 12th.

Dr. Broxey-Jones specializes in areas such as Second Language Learning, Early Literacy, and Reading. Through her education and experiences teaching young and adult learners, she has provided support for teachers, coaches, and administrators in rural, suburban, and urban areas. Dr. Broxey-Jones is deeply committed to supporting students and educators in all settings. She believes that teaching is a service that should be handled with compassion and a servant’s heart. 

Teaching students to find their voice in reading and writing is ultimately at the core of what I do, and helping educators find their heart of service is what makes my career rewarding.
