Sarah Martin
Educational Consultant — Literacy, K–6
Sarah Martin is an Educational Consultant with CORE. She received her master’s as a Reading Specialist from the University of Virginia and is currently a doctoral student at Mount St. Joseph University in the Reading Science program.
Sarah has taught Kindergarten through 6th grade, including working as a reading specialist. She has also been an early childhood instructional coach, supporting educators in implementing evidence-based practices. Previously, she was the Assistant Director for the Literacy and Humanities Bureau of the New Mexico Public Education Department, leading the structured literacy initiative for the state. She has been a LETRS facilitator and worked as a Professional Learning Solutions Account Executive at Lexia Learning. She has developed and delivered professional learning for educators focused on structured literacy and is passionate about systems change through MTSS.
